Neff Family Reunion

Neff Family Reunion

We took Theron to Branson, Missouri this weekend for the Neff Family Reunion (his Grandma Jill's family). Theron had a blast meeting his Great Grandparents, Aunt Jackie and Emelia, Uncle Barry and Aunt Tina and the "5th Neff Kid" Mischa. We enjoyed seeing Branson Landing, touring Stonehill Winery and visiting with family. We only regret that we didn't get to spend more time there. We also found out that Theron really likes Famous Dave's Hot and Spicy Pickles. He ate two full orders of them! I only have one pic so far and will have to post the others later . . .

Thirteen on Thursday - Books

For our first thirteen on Thursday post, I thought I'd share some of Theron's favorite books. I hope he is excited about reading his whole life as he is now! He loves:
1. Anything by Dr. Seuss, but especially The Foot Book, ABC's & There's a Wocket in my Pocket
2. The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle
3. My First Book of Animals
4. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff (much of the appeal of this books is that it has real pages, like "Mama's book"
5. Let's Make Music - a Sesame Street Sounds book
6. The Going to Bed Book - Sandra Boynton
7. Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs - Sandra Boynton
8. Rainbow Rob
9. I Can Fly - Ruth Krauss (a Little Golden book)
10. No, No Noah! - Dandi Daley Mackall
11. The Pokey Little Puppy
12. Baby Words
13. The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Eric Carle

Faith Dancin'

Dancing must run in the Johnson/Cheatham family genes. I found this one of Faith dancing while she was staying with us. We burned a lot of energy listening to the Satellite Radio Dance Mix. No kids were harmed during the making of this video . . .

Dancin', Dancin', Dancin'

Which is funnier, Aaron rapping or Theron dancing? Wait for the booty shot at the end. No, I did not teach him that!

Jumpin' With Joy

Jumpin' With Joy

Today was our church group's Thursday playdate. We had a blast in Paragould at Jumpin' with Joy. They have tons of things for the kids to do including jump houses and best of all, they have tons of balls to play with! For even more adventure, we took the kids (yes, 6 adults and 9 children) to Chili's afterwards to eat. The kids did really well and are now all sleeping soundly giving their mommies time to blog, yeah!

Viola Trip

We took the boys to Viola last weekend to see Grandpa Ralph. Theron's Great Aunts Sandy and Yvonne were also there and so was their cousin Carly Jo. We had a great time playing with Grandpa Ralph's dogs. Barron and Theron also liked the picnic table out front. The weather was great too!

First Post

Okay, okay . . . I bow to the peer pressure. Here is a little blog for Theron. No complaints when I don't post often enough!!! I have a lot to catch up on, but at least this is a start :)
