First Day of School

We are so blessed that Theron is able to be in Ms. Tara's class at Concordia.  He is going on Mondays and Wednesdays and today was his first day.  He was excited that they have a "BIG li-brary" (yes, he pronounces it correctly -- that's my boy ;0) and a McD's playset.  He also enjoyed playing with the blocks and having two recesses (although it rained during the first one today).  I am so glad he enjoyed himself enough that he would like to go every day.  He is also super-pumped about having a Cars backpack, water bottle and lunch box.  

Awesome VBS Week

We had a great time at VBS this week!  We also got to attend the Kinder music concert (kids in the front row) for the end of the library summer program on Tuesday with Barron, Ky, Eden, Lila & NeNe and T-Mac.  T-Mac's favorite song was "Stinky Poo" and he has been singing about that skunk ever since the concert.  He and I also got to see Hansel & Gretel Thursday -- we enjoyed both very much!   The VBS Kickoff with the giant inflatable waterslide was a huge hit and VBS was a blast from learning pledges and the motto to singing the "Ice Cream" song and helping "decorate" with all the taxis.  T-Mac loved playing with all his friends in Ms. Denise's class.  Can't wait for the airplanes next year. . .

It's A . . .

Camping at Gunner Pool and Exploring the Cave at Blanchard

We "finally" took T-Mac on a camping trip to Gunner Pool.  He was a little more hesitant about caving at Blanchard, but finally agreed to go (although he backed out at the air lock and had to be persuaded in).  Once inside, we had a hard time getting him out -- he thought it was really cool.  Here's some pics of our explorations and sitting around the campfire chillin' . . . and the s'mores were a big hit too! 

1st T-Ball Game



Theron (No. 13 - his Daddy's number) and Barron (No. 12) are both playing T-ball for the Texas (Barton's) Rangers this year! They are very excited to play (and their excitement usually continues at least half-way through their games. Aaron also played T-Ball for the Rangers. Cindy (McLeod) Howard's little boy Aidan is also on their team - and is a hoot to watch! The four year olds definitely make up the entertainment for the team. Here's a video of T-Mac's first hit and a pic from after the game. . . the snacks are always a big hit, especially the Gatorade like the big boys have.

Easter

This Easter Theron was excited to ride the "Bunny Train" at the mall, enjoyed the Annual South Caraway Church Easter Egg Hunt (followed by a rugby game and shower for Cousin Carla and her baby boy Carson), and dying eggs. . . while eating a few chocolate ones. Sunday morning he hunted eggs and checked out the EB's gifts (some movies [Yogi Bear & Tugger], candy, Peeps and safety scissors before we headed to Mountain Home with NiNi to visit Grandpa Ralph.
