October is here!

Bring on Halloween!!

A Dentist Visit

We noticed last week that T-Mac had a cavity in one of his teeth, so we made our first trek to the dentist today. He actually had a good time and did great for them! With no silly juice or gas he let them fill his tooth, clean, floss and apply flouride. It helped that Dr. K had Mr. Squirt Gun, Mr. Bumper and Mr. Suction to entertain him.

He was very excited to add another toothbrush to his collection -- you'd think a kid with this many toothbrushes wouldn't have cavities!! (Apparently he has baby teeth like his momma's with really deep grooves. Ahh, the joys of heredity) And yes, his shirt does say "I don't bite but he does." Ironically, when they told him to bite down to check on the filling he said, "I can't, I can't bite your finger . . ."

Two Rodeo Clowns

These two wouldn't let me take their pictures before the rodeo, but they had a great time! They also got to come back and play a bit of Wii (they were on too much of a cotton candy/doughnut sugar high to sleep) before hitting the hay.

Nothin' Better

Than lickin' the bowl

A New Store

A new store has recently opened in our sunroom. They have quite the bargains. T-Mac informed us that for just $3,000.00 we could buy his yellow motorcycle. Kid drives a hard bargain. He did manage to con his Dad out of a real dollar. . . .We mentioned $3,000 was a lot for a toy . . .he said it was in the budget. . .

Playing with the neighbors

Theron has gotten to know the two boys and one girl who live next door. They are really great about playing with him -- even though he is a bit younger. One of their favorite games involves shooting this rocket while one kid lies on the slide and tries to catch the shoe as the others shoot it off.

Finally, A Sleepover

Theron has been begging us for months now to let a friend sleep over. He has spent a lot of time trying to convince Barron to come over once his baby brother was born. Barron finally agreed Sunday night. They did great, coming home to take a bath, read a story and going to bed. We had to promise next time it could be a camping sleepover and they would get to play together longer! Here's two pics from the first sleepover at our house and one from August 22 when Barron came over to play for a while and they decided they needed to wear their SCARY Masks!
(After writing this post and surfing over to the Wright's Post about Ashtyn stories (still laughing over the Daddy Bruce), I had to add this postscript. . . T-Mac and Barron are around each other so much that Theron has also taken to calling Aaron "Uncle Aaron" instead of Daddy sometimes -- much to our chagrin and despite constant correction! Oh, these three year olds . . .)
