Buddies

Theron and Barron love taking a shower a NeNe's on Sundays. This Sunday they decided to play "car wash" in the shower! Their new favorite phrase is to say they are going to do "something crazy" and they both have finally learned to chew gum instead of swallowing it :) They are also in to a big monster truck/garbage truck/fire truck/any kind of truck phase. And they love to do the hokey pokey in the shower. "Driving" Gramps' bucket truck and discussing the vehicles and heavy equipment they have seen recently are some of their hot topics for discussion. They both try to boss each other around too, which is pretty funny.

Fencing Foibles

Saturday we went to see a fencing demonstration at the library. Debra (who does some consulting work with Aaron and Laura) is the fencing master and it was a lot of fun to see her students performing. We will definately check our their January 9 competition as her beginning students fence the Little Rock and Fort Smith clubs. Theron really enjoyed it! Barron was not quite as enthusiastic. However, they both loved going to McD's after! (BTW, lefties and women have an advantage in fencing, perhaps here is a sport I could enjoy!)

Fork v. Chopsticks

Sometimes, with a two year old, chopsticks are no messier than a fork! Theron loves the new Hiro restaurant. His faves are the fried rice, Hiro soup and crab angels (fried rangoon).

Softball Games

Theron has really enjoyed softball season. We actually won our first regular season game last week and lost narrowly on Thursday. Theron and Ella were the only two toddlers there this week, but usually there is quite a crew with the Barretts, Reeds, Cheathams, etc. So, here are some of the two cohorts in crime (siblings in snacks, denizens of dirt, aiders of applause, okay, enough already here's the pics . . .)
