Pippi Longstocking

In the midst of VBS this week, we also went to see Pippi Longstocking Thursday. Theron loved it! The ASU Children's Theater included lots of opportunities for the kids to get involved and SHOUT! during the play and it completely captivated them. T-Mac loved Mr. Nilson and the whole cast of characters and Pippi even showed us to our seats! They didn't allow photography during the play, but here is T-Mac before his first real play and a shot of the stage of Villa Villakuella.

Storytime - Argh!

I am so grateful that the boys (T-Mac and Barron) and Lila and Eden are able to go with NeNe each week to storytime at the library. They always have great stories and crafts. This summer they have done a lot of water related activities as "Making Waves." This is T-Mac's pirate. He says he drew a balloon face for it. Thought it was quite recognizable and cute . . .

June - Branson Vacation

We took a few days off in June for a family vacation to Branson. The go carts and mini-golf were a big hit the first day we were there. We spent one day at Silver Dollar City and rode a ton of rights. Theron got to drive a duck on Thursday and we went to the Dixie Stampede which he found captivating also. Will have to get the pics from SDC off Aaron's phone -- we were having too much fun to take pictures most of the trip! But here are a few

Play"date" and Playdough

Haley and Faith got to spend an afternoon over here (Thanks Lori for pulling the morning shift with the kids!). They enjoyed some play dough. Theron showed off his new playroom DVD player (Monster Truck DVD of course) to Faith. And I spent the next few hours digging playdough out of a series of monster trucks, toy cars and other assorted toys . . .

May - First Shiner

T-Mac acquired this lovely shiner at "Chick-a-Lay" as he calls it. Who knew a kid's playground (designed for those under 4) would have a metal staircase? Ironically, he escaped a black eye the week before after hitting the side of his head on a marble coffee table at Grandma's. He has repeatedly assured us, "it's okay." Remembering his last mishap at this particular restaurant was being stepped on by the cow (who was being bullied by some other kids), perhaps fast food is dangerous to your health in multiple ways!

Internet Again!

I know we haven't posted in a while, but we discovered when we moved that our DSL was not available in this area. After a couple of months of trying to make do with an aircard (impossible to post anything to blog using it!), we got a cable line! Yeah . . . so here are several posts to "catch up" what we've been doing lately. Here is a pic of Faith and Theron's inaguration of our tub taken around the end of April shortly after we moved.
