Play"date" and Playdough

Haley and Faith got to spend an afternoon over here (Thanks Lori for pulling the morning shift with the kids!). They enjoyed some play dough. Theron showed off his new playroom DVD player (Monster Truck DVD of course) to Faith. And I spent the next few hours digging playdough out of a series of monster trucks, toy cars and other assorted toys . . .

May - First Shiner

T-Mac acquired this lovely shiner at "Chick-a-Lay" as he calls it. Who knew a kid's playground (designed for those under 4) would have a metal staircase? Ironically, he escaped a black eye the week before after hitting the side of his head on a marble coffee table at Grandma's. He has repeatedly assured us, "it's okay." Remembering his last mishap at this particular restaurant was being stepped on by the cow (who was being bullied by some other kids), perhaps fast food is dangerous to your health in multiple ways!

Internet Again!

I know we haven't posted in a while, but we discovered when we moved that our DSL was not available in this area. After a couple of months of trying to make do with an aircard (impossible to post anything to blog using it!), we got a cable line! Yeah . . . so here are several posts to "catch up" what we've been doing lately. Here is a pic of Faith and Theron's inaguration of our tub taken around the end of April shortly after we moved.

Bob-the-Hairy-Monster

So, we have a new friend around our house. His name is Bob-the-Hairy-Monster (T-Mac says it as one word & does NOT allow him to be called "Bob"). We interviewed him about BTHM last night in the car:
T-Mac: BTHM is brown and has a bunch of eyes. He was outside of the window last night. He was crushing all of the cars and monster trucks. He can spit. He can also take people's guns away. (That's good) And give you a sword (Not so sure about that one). T-Mac assures us he is nice. His favorite movie is Lightning (Cars). His favorite color is yellow. (So is T-Mac's). He likes to drive cars. He is also little, but bigger than T-Mac. He has yellow hair. This is about all the info we could get on Bob, excuse me, Bob-the-Hairy-Monster. Guess I shouldn't be too surprised, Scary Face lived with me for many years too . . .

Aaron asked T-Mac the other morning what he dreams about. The answer: Ice cream trucks. Sounds good to me . . . perhaps that is why he woke me up the other night laughing . . .
