Theron is 2!

Theron turned 2 on Friday the 13th of February. We can't believe he is already 2! We started his birthday celebrations on February 7th with a party at the church for him and his friends and family. We had a lot of fun at a Curious George themed party. He also had parties at Granny's on the following Tuesday and at NeNe's on his birthday. He got to spend his birthday night at Papaw and Grandma's and then celebrated Faith's birthday on Saturday, Valentine's Day. Thanks for everyone for all the toys, clothes, movies and gifts! He is still discovering new toys to play with!

Ice Sleepover

We had fun in the storm too! Aidan, Lexi and Lori got to stay the night here the first night of the storm. Justin and Courtney came when Mom & Dad's power was still out and several people stopped by to use our HOT WATER! Yes, we still had hot water and our gas fireplace logs, so we considered ourselves very fortunate. Drew was able to grill pizzas on our grill, so we had hot meals too! Overall, we were very very lucky and very very very appreciative when the power came back on a few days later! For future reference, our law firm NEVER lost power and we'll go camp out there with the rest of the staff if this happens again!

Four Christmases

We all had a great Christmas this year. Theron wasn't old enough last Christmas to really know what was going on. He was this year! He really got into opening presents. Our first Christmas was spent at Jason and Nikki's new house exchanging gifts with Carter, Faith & Adalyn. Our second Christmas was with my grandmother (Granny Dois) at her house. Our third Christmas was at NeNe's on Christmas Eve. We also did our family one that night. Our fourth Christmas was a busy one -- breakfast at Grandma and Pappaws house (with Drew!), and then on to Viola and Grandpa Ralph's for a late lunch. Theron's favorite toys seem to be his train and tracks (from Santa); his dump truck and front end loader (Justin & Courtney); his wagon (Grandma and Pappaw); a Spongebob magna doodle (NeNe and Gramps); and John Deere vacuum cleaner/sander/saw (Laura, Zach & Barron). But that leaves out this other favorites, the guitar and the hot wheels and the Handy Manny toys and the Clifford books, and the . . . . it was a big Christmas!
We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy family this Christmas!

Colson Caster Christmas Party

Theron and Barron both got to go to the Colson Caster Christmas Party this year. They really enjoyed the video games, bowling, unlimited french fries and ketchup and just hanging out with each other. Neither was crazy about Santa and Mrs. Claus, but they did enjoy their presents! The car racing, spider stomping and glow bowling were big hits . . . and look how cute those little bowling shoes are

Wii Fit x II

Theron loves watching us play Wii Fit, but he always wants to climb on the board. Aaron figured out a great solution - our bathroom scale! Here's my two guys playing the Penguin game!
